PROGRAMME

CrossFit is a strength & conditioning programme which is suitable for everyone. Yes, some of the things we do are challenging but we pride ourselves in catering for the needs of the individual. So, if you aren’t ready for the tougher stuff you will be given alternative versions which will help you on the way to developing the skills you need to tackle those challenges. CrossFit itself is defined as that which optimizes fitness (constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity). CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective (courtesy of CrossFit.com)

After years of triathlon I really wanted to find something I could do with a group but had just found out I had ruptured my cruciate ligament in my knee. Found Raeda online, called and was surprised how Lee spent so much time explaining everything about the club – every word was focused on the members. Induction next day with Tony was exactly the same, no pressure just supportive and a careful approach to make sure my injury was coping. We did a 4 min WOD at the end of my first session, no messing about straight into it which I loved. First sessions booked and a bit nervous as I hadn’t lifted before. No need, two steps in the door other members introducing themselves, welcoming. The coaching from Joel and Annie (mainly) has been so amazing that I forgot I was new. Even after only a month it is one of the best decisions I ever made. Can’t recommend Crossfit Raeda enough…absolutely life changing.

Love this gym! I love the fact that the same class can accommodate competitive athletes lifting huge weights, alongside those of us who just enjoy the varied workouts. But at the end of the class we have all worked out to 110% of our ability. I had thought it might be intimidating but I couldn’t have been more wrong – everyone is incredibly friendly. As for the coaches, they have been incredibly patient and helpful during recovery from a dodgy shoulder, always finding suitable alternatives. 5 stars all the way!

This place is AMAZING, one of a kind. I’ve been a welcomed pass through member for a couple of weeks whilst I’m home visiting family and I couldn’t recommend Crossfit Raeda any higher.

If you’re new to Crossfit then you’ll learn & progress heaps in the hands of expert coaching and if you’re already a Crossfitter you’ll love these gassy, hardcore WODS. Outside of the gym I’ve been having a tough time coping with my brothers recent illness but this place and these people are my release, being here lifts my positivity and puts me in the right mindset every morning…even if my muscles are sore as!


Annie, Lee and Joel are incredible, friendly, loved and inspiring people who have created a fabulous community to train, improve and make friends.
